Into a new world we go

[It had been exciting news at the start, to be invited into the exchange program his wizarding university had with the Hogwarts. Ever since Kuroo had discovered the strange world of wizarding, Hogwarts had been the school everyone this side of the world looked up to. He looked forward to the opportunity to learn Western magic, and to see how the foundation of their wizarding differed from what he knew.

The preparation leading up to the program, though... That was quite tedious, and Kuroo's excitement grew less and less after struggling through Nakano's secret alleyways to look for a bloody oversized cauldron.

Now, after landing in Britain and being in the train, all Kuroo wanted was to sleep. He had gotten there ahead of most other students, stored his baggage, and then just sat to sleep. It was cold, though, so he'd pulled off his jacket, transformed into a cat, and just curled up underneath it. With luck he'll stay asleep for most of the ride. He was sure that the other passengers would just mistake him for someone's pet and leave him alone, especially since his things were right there.]

[the thing is. the thing is - tsukki is a good student, really, and he doesn't want to risk having points docked off just because he can't help his curiousity and decided to sneak into the forest with an older student. if caught, both of them will have to suffer; if one or both of them gets injured, they'll have even bigger problems.

he looks really torn and jealous of how kuroo can just consider going in there without much fuss.]

It's kind of dangerous, you know.

[captaincatblock]

It can't be that much more dangerous than our forests and its kami. [Bumps his shoulder into Tsukki's.] But I'll concede to the very real threat there, that's why I suggested researching first.

How about you look up what's in there and how we can avoid getting killed by them, and I'll figure out how to get out of the castle and into the woods without being caught?

That's fine. [he gives him a rather confused look at the shoulder bump. he'd only met kuroo recently, and for some reason he's really friendly to him already.]

Is there any reason why you're agreeing to this ...? Not that I don't want you to, but you know ... we've only just met, and that was mostly because of a cat.

[captaincatblock]

I'm flirting with you, obviously. [Serenely, as he starts for the door.]

[hellacene]

You - what -

[he's flustered enough by the words that he ends up just staring at him as he leaves, and then he follows when he realizes that he's been gaping at him for far too long.] Wait -!

[captaincatblock]

Well, that's not the entire reason, since I'm not that awful a person. I think you're interesting and I'd like to get to know you better.

But I'm also flirting. [Looking up at him from where he'd descended a few steps down.]

[he has a number of responses to that, one of them being why first of all, which seems a bit rude to ask when someone finds you attractive enough to flirt with, and the second one being you're going to be disappointed because what the hell. so he settles with a rather indignant,]

Why couldn't you have picked someone in the same house as you?

Yeah! I asked about the owasera verse also.

[Grinning, because that's not a no.]

Does it matter? I'm sure students date kids of other houses all the time here.

That's not it.

[and then he goes off to follow kuroo as he goes down from the owlery.] - but nevermind. I suppose it's harmless enough.

[captaincatblock]

I'm offended you'd think I would be harmful to you. [Jokingly.] I'm totally a good guy. We're still on for the forest, right? And Charms tutoring?

[hellacene]

We are. Just give me some time about the forest to figure out what creatures are in there.

[and then - it takes him a while to add this, but nevertheless - ]

If you're really serious - I'm free this Friday afternoon.

[they can go to hogsmeade and just ... go on a date. eat cakes. be cute.]

[That's unexpected. It's so unexpected Kuroo stumbles down the next step he's taking, although he catches his footing after. He looks up at Tsukki, blinking.]

I'm serious. And, all right. Friday afternoon it is. [Kuroo had been prepared to wheedle the hell out of Tsukki for a bit of time, so this is a pleasant surprise.]

[it's not like he's got a busy schedule; all he has after school was more or less time dedicated to studying and contemplating which creatures to go after while hanging out with akaashi, when he doesn't have practise. it's not like he has a pet to busy himself with or something.]

Let's meet at the hall after my last class, then. [he pauses, as if to consider something, and then - ] Maybe after your practise, if you have any on that day.

[captaincatblock]

[He runs his schedule through his head, shakes it.] No, the Gryffindors have the field on that day. I'll meet you for sure!

[And he finally remembers to continue the way down and not block the staircase.]
